CIF & District Alignment

Educational & Community-Based Youth Development Program

Our Alignment with Governing Bodies

Doing Exceptional Deeds (D.A.D.) operates as an independent, community-based nonprofit organization. We respect and adhere to the policies and principles established by local school districts, state education guidelines, and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

Our programs are intentionally structured to avoid any conflict with school-based athletics, eligibility rules, or recruitment regulations. D.A.D. does not serve as an extension of any school, athletic program, or governing body.

Governing Bodies We Respect

California Interscholastic Federation (CIF)

D.A.D. programs are structured to avoid any conflict with CIF eligibility rules, recruitment regulations, or amateurism standards.

Local School Districts

We respect and operate within the guidelines of local school districts. D.A.D. does not serve as an extension of any school or district athletic program.

State Education Guidelines

All programming aligns with California state education principles for community-based youth development organizations.

How We Stay Aligned

  • All programming is independent of school athletic programs
  • D.A.D. does not communicate with schools regarding student-athlete eligibility
  • No D.A.D. activity is tied to school team selection, playing time, or transfer decisions
  • Staff and volunteers are prohibited from recruiting or influencing school enrollment
  • D.A.D. does not act as an agent, representative, or NIL broker for any participant
  • Programming focuses exclusively on mentorship, education, and life skills — not athletic performance

For School Administrators & District Officials

D.A.D. welcomes direct communication with school administrators, district officials, and CIF representatives. We are happy to provide documentation of our programs, conduct policies, and compliance posture to support any review process.

Our goal is to be a trusted community partner — not a compliance risk. We proactively structure our programs to ensure schools can confidently allow their students to participate.
