Educational & Community-Based Youth Development Program

Our Standards for Staff & Volunteers

All D.A.D. staff and volunteers are required to agree to and uphold the following conduct standards before participating in any program activity. These standards exist to protect students, families, and the integrity of D.A.D.'s mission.

Any violation of these standards results in immediate removal from program involvement.

Required Conduct Standards

All D.A.D. staff and volunteers agree to:

  • Maintain professional boundaries with students and families
  • Avoid all recruiting or school-related influence
  • Refrain from discussing school transfers or athletic placement
  • Operate in alignment with district-approved guidelines when on campus
  • Focus strictly on mentorship, education, and life skills development

Prohibited Actions

Staff and volunteers are strictly prohibited from:

  • Recruiting or referring students to any school, program, or athletic organization
  • Discussing a student's eligibility status, playing time, or team selection
  • Communicating with school coaches or administrators on behalf of a student-athlete
  • Accepting compensation or gifts in connection with student referrals or placements
  • Representing themselves as agents, advisors, or NIL representatives
  • Providing therapy, counseling, or medical advice of any kind

Enforcement

D.A.D. leadership is responsible for enforcing these standards across all program activities. Reports of conduct violations may be submitted directly to D.A.D. leadership.

Any staff member or volunteer found in violation of these standards will be immediately removed from all program involvement, with no exceptions.
