Student Success Advisory Pilot

Expanded Learning-Aligned Program — Supporting middle school students beyond the instructional day.

The Student Success Advisory Pilot is a supplemental expanded learning initiative designed to support middle school students beyond the instructional day. The program focuses on life skills development, leadership, decision-making, and social-emotional growth while aligning with district Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) principles.

This pilot supplements, and does not duplicate, core academic instruction.

Program Features

Safe & Supportive Environment — Structured sessions that promote belonging, respect, and student wellbeing.
Active & Engaged Learning — Interactive, discussion-based learning experiences that encourage participation and reflection.
Skill Building — Development of leadership, communication, goal-setting, and real-world readiness skills.
Youth Voice & Leadership — Opportunities for students to contribute ideas, practice leadership, and reflect on decision-making.
Diversity, Access & Equity — Inclusive participation with equitable access guided by site leadership.
Collaborative Partnerships — Delivered in partnership with school sites and Expanded Learning staff.
Continuous Improvement — Feedback collected from students and staff to inform future sessions.
